Jodhpur (Rajasthan)
‘Jodhpur’ is a very familiar word in the English language, but few outside of India, will know the significance of the illustrious history of this ‘oasis’ at the geographical centre of Rajasthan, which very much intertwined with that of the Rathore Clan. It is a jewel of civilization with much cultural splendour and tradition.

Among its many attractions the Mehrangarh Fort dating from the mid-15th century, the nearby royal cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh and the 20th century Umaid Bhawan Palace are of particular note.
