From your arrival in Delhi, throughout your time in the jungle and sightseeing to your departure, you will be looked after by experienced and knowledgeable guides and will discover much about not only the wildlife, but the heritage and way of life in India.

Bandhavgarh National Park is set among the truly spectacular Vindhya Hills and has a well deserved reputation for a diverse fauna list among which the tiger is particularly famed with a population density that is among the highest in India. Despite being a large park it an intimate feel with contrasting topography and landscapes.

Jaipur was the first planned city to be built in India and has many fascinating and beautiful monuments and buildings. It is a vibrant city with a distinct cultural heritage and a centre for textiles and jewellery. Your stay in Jaipur will be very hospitable at Pratap Bhawan where friendly hosts Himanshu and Deepti Rathore will look after your every need.

From Jaipur your adventure culminates in a visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, a stunning and fitting finale to your visit to India.

PRICE:

9 nights on the basis of two people sharing accommodation* and includes:

- Accommodation at the hotels as specified in the itinerary with exception of ‘wash and change’ at Delhi; Bandhavgarh is on full board basis; half board (breakfast and dinner) at Jaipur;
- Safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park by private jeep;
- Meet & assist at all airport/hotels;
- Trainfares (including all taxes) for journeys between Delhi and Katni, Katni and Jaipur:
- All transfers by road by air-conditioned car;
- All guide fees including Himanshu’s tour fees and entry to monuments.

Itinerary

On the basis of arrival in Delhi on a Sunday:

Day 1	Arrive Delhi Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for an opportunity to wash and change followed by lunch at the hotel prior to transfer to board the overnight train to Katni.
Day 2	Arrive Katni - transfer to Bandhavgarh Early morning arrival at Katni for transfer to Monsoon Forest Lodge at Bandhavgarh. Breakfast and lunch at lodge followed by afternoon game drive.
Day 3	Bandhavgarh National Park Early morning start (0600 hrs). Game drives in morning and afternoon, all meals at the lodge.
Day 4	Bandhavgarh National Park Early morning start (0600 hrs). Game drive in the morning. The park is closed on a Wednesday afternoon and so there is an opportunity to go bird watching or to take a walk through the village. All meals at the lodge.
Day 5	Bandhavgarh National Park Early morning start (0600 hrs). Game drives in morning and afternoon, all meals at the lodge.
Day 6	Bandhavgarh National Park Early morning start (0600 hrs). Game drives in morning and afternoon, all meals at the lodge.
Day 7	Bandhavgarh National Park Early morning start (0600 hrs) for game drive. Breakfast and lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Transfer to Katni to catch the overnight train to Jaipur.
Day 8	Jaipur Early afternoon arrival in Jaipur. Transfer to Himanshu & Deepti’s ‘home stay’, Pratap Bhawan. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Evening drinks and dinner with the family.
Day 9	Jaipur Early morning breakfast. Elephant ride up to Amber Fort followed by sightseeing around Jaipur city and visit to the Palace Museum. Opportunity for shopping if required.
Day 10	Jaipur - Agra - New Delhi Early morning breakfast. Depart Pratap Bhawan for transfer by car (five hour journey) for visit to Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Restaurant lunch. If time permits visit to the ‘Baby Taj’. Evening train to Delhi. Airport check-in for early morning flight.
